MAKE IT COUNT – PRACTICAL POINTERS TO GROW YOUR BUSINESS IN UNDER 2 MINUTES

You’re busy – I get it.

So, to help you out, each week I’ll share a short video (less than 2 minutes) with one practical idea you can use in your advice business today that will make a difference.

I’ve also included the written version if you prefer to read it.

Give it a go – and make every minute count!

Today I share how you can make a small change to your bio that will make all the difference when it comes to building relationships

People invest in you, you as the human, and so they want to know more about you when they’re sussing out whether you are someone they want to work with.

So, it’s really important that you help them understand more about you, as easily as possible.

And one of the best ways to do this is to make sure that your bio or in the summary section of your LinkedIn profile, there’s an opportunity for me to really understand about you, as the human.

And here’s the tip, if you write it in first person narrative, so instead of third person, which is Kim has done this or Kim has done that, first person, means write it from I, I have done this, I have done that.

Because when I’m reading it, and I could be reading about you late at night when I am surfing the internet or doing some of my research around whether I am going to choose you as an adviser, then it sounds like you’re talking to me.

And that does wonders when it comes to helping people really connect and engage with you more powerfully.

Give it a go, the minutes up, so makes it count.
