MAKE IT COUNT – PRACTICAL POINTERS TO GROW YOUR BUSINESS IN UNDER 2 MINUTES

Here’s a short video (less than 2 minutes) with one practical idea you can use in your advice business today that will make a difference.

I’ve also included the written version if you prefer to read it.

Give it a go – and make every minute count!

Today’s video is about how you can help clients understand all the events that take place in their lives that should trigger them to call you

Have you ever had a client, who did something during the year and you found out about it, either when you’ve had one of your formal meetings or on the grapevine, and you’ve thought ‘Why didn’t they tell me that?’ That’s something that they should’ve told me.

See, not all clients understand that everything that goes on in their life or the things that go on that they should be telling you about, so why don’t you give them a helping a hand.

Why don’t you compile a list of all of the things that could go on in their life, say over the next 12 months.

Some of the things that are planned and certainly some things that are unplanned.

And put it together, maybe in an infographic or something that is visually appealing.

And then give it to them after you’ve had your progress or review meeting and explain to them that if any of these things happen over the next 12 months… then pick up the phone because that’s why we’re here.

You’ll be surprised at how many things will come up on their list that when you give it to your client, they’ll say ‘oh, I had no idea that I’d call you about that’.

So think about all of those planned or unplanned things.

All you’ve got to do it reflect on all the things that happened over the last 12 months in your client’s lives and that’s a great starting point for you to compile the list.

Help them understand when they need to pick up the phone and get in touch, because it really does wonders for deepening your relationships.

So on that note, whatever you do with it; Make It Count.
