Here’s a short video (just a tad over 2 minutes) with a practical idea to help your business grow.
I’ve also included the written version if you prefer to read it.
Give it a go – and make every minute count!
In today’s video, I share why a blog is a powerful way to help you get more clients and grow your business.
MAKE IT COUNT – PRACTICAL POINTERS TO GROW YOUR BUSINESS IN ONLY MINUTES
Do you want to know what are the most powerful ways to get more clients understanding about you, who you are, what you bring to the table.
Then you really need to be doing a blog, or writing a blog.
I know that sounds really spooky to some of you.
However, all it is, is getting your thoughts, your perceptions, your opinions, your interpretations of the life of money or the world of living, onto a platform that can go out there on scale and reach a whole lot of people.
See what happens is when someone reads a blog that you’ve written, or that you’ve created, they get an insight into how you think and how you behave, and what you could potentially bring to their table.
And that’ really powerful because when I’m looking for someone to give me guidance and direction around my money or around how money can help me live a better life, then I want to know what makes you tick.
I want to know how you think. I want to know your beliefs and what’s important to you and what’s not.
Because if I connect with that, then I’m going to think, yeah this is someone I want on my team.
If I don’t connect on the other hand, then you might be pushing me away, but that’s okay because you’ll be bringing in or pulling in others who do.
When you’re writing a blog there’s a number of ways you can do it.
The first is you actually write it yourself, and I know that that’s time consuming and you’re thinking ‘but I don’t have any time’.
However, it’s a business development activity. It’s no different to maybe what you did ten years ago when you picked up the phone and made a cold call.
Today, the world is different, so you sitting down and putting your thoughts on paper, or record it into your phone or a dictaphone and get someone else to write it up.
Or get someone else to write it full stop, but make sure that they’re writing from your perception, not theirs.
However you do it, you can then put it on your website, you can then spread it out through social media, you can send it to your clients, and you can have it there for prospective clients to get that insight into who you are, how you help, and how you can make their life better with some guidance around their money.
Anyway, whatever you do with that, and please do it, Make It Count.
Thanks Sweet-pea
