MAKE IT COUNT – PRACTICAL POINTERS TO GROW YOUR BUSINESS IN UNDER 2 MINUTES
You’re busy – I get it.
So, to help you out, each week I’ll share a short video (less than 2 minutes) with one practical idea you can use in your advice business today that will make a difference.
I’ll also include the written version if you prefer to read it.
Give it a go – and make every minute count!
This week I share how you can get people engaged by focusing on ‘What’s in it for me?’ from their perspective.
Do you want know a really easy way to get more engagement from your existing clients, or more interest from your prospects?
You need to always include a ‘what’s in it for me’ from the clients’ point of view before you make any sort of invite, request, send any information or communication to a client.
So, just say you are sending out a portfolio valuation, sending out a report of some description or you’re inviting the client in for an annual progress meeting, make sure that the beginning includes a ‘what is in it for me’ from the clients’ point of view.
For example: “So Kim, the reason we need to catch-up is that things have changed. There’s been circumstances that you don’t know about and there’s going to have been things in your world that are not the same and we need to see what the impact all of this has on you achieving the goals and objectives that you said were important to you.”
Whatever it is, an invite to a seminar, maybe it’s even the copy on your website, always include a ‘what’s in it for me’ from the clients’ point of view first… and then get into the detail.
Ok minutes up, make it count!
Another great idea – thanks Kim!
