Use video to deliver a more powerful message

You’re busy – I get it.

So, to help you out, each week I’ll share a short video (less than 2 minutes) with one practical idea you can use in your advice business today that will make a difference.

I’ve also included the written version if you prefer to read it.

Give it a go – and make every minute count!

Today’s video explores the most powerful tool you can use to connect with more people in this day and age.

If you need someone to do something, and this could be before you have a meeting with a client or after, then why not just pull together a quick 60 to 90-second video explaining what they need to do or why they need to do it.

So for instance, if we’ve just had a meeting and you’ve now got the weekend and I need you to do something, then straight after the meeting I could push record on my video camera and say (something like this):

“Hey Paul, it was super catching up! Now remember what I said, I need you, this weekend, to go away and do some research on where you, your wife and kids are going to take your next holiday in the next few months.

Do the research, come back to me on Monday and then we’ll put together a plan of where is the best way to get the money so you can have that holiday.

But please do it because I can’t make that decision for you. I need you to do it. It’s really important.”

And then you push stop (recording).

It is that simple.

It’s just a video camera, some lights and YOU! Ok?

Give it a go, it’s a really powerful tool, because guess what…. you get to eyeball the client.

Ok minutes up, so makes it count.
