In today’s video I share one thing you can do to help referral partners better understand the value of working with you.  


We’ve spend a lot of time learning about client-value propositions, which really is just another way of clearly identifying why a client would work with you, stay with you, pay you, and refer you.   

What a lot of business owners don’t do is spend time looking at what is their proposition for their business partners or alliances, centres of influence, whatever you like to call it.  

So, if I was looking to partner with you, then it’s really important that I’m crystal clear on what are the things that I bring to your table that are going to be of benefit for you  

How can I help grow your business?   

How can I help grow your client base?  

How can I help you be of more value to your clients, so that you can keep your clients for longer and hopefully get more from them and deliver more value to them overall?   

So, if you spent all that time working on your own client value proposition, or value that you bring to your client’s table, it might be worthwhile also spending time sitting down and clearly mapping out what is the value that you bring to the table for an alliance or referral partner  

Why would they want to work with you and what’s in it for them from their point of view of partnering with you and results that they might be able to get which they can’t get on their own?   

Anyway, pull that together and use that, maybe put it together in a marketing brochure or in some sort of a paraphernalia that you can share with them, so that you can really remind them of why it’s a good move to be a partner of yours.   

Whatever you do with that, Make It Count.
